Clinical Education Development and Research (CEDAR) at The University of Exeter is host to the Psychological Professions Network SW in collaboration with the NHS. This is a new sub network of PPN England and is led by an Interim Steering Group which shapes the work of the PPN SW by developing and supporting delivery and monitoring of an annual Work Plan based on the objectives of the PPN and agreed by the Board of the Psychological Professions Network England (PPNE).
Main purpose of the job:
The role will involve working on research and evaluation projects, collating training and workforce data, interpreting and producing summary reports as required by Health Education England / NHSE and the Co-Chairs / Programme Manager. Under direction from the Co-Chairs / Programme Manager, they will liaise with key strategic partners including Health Education England, NHS-England, PPN-England to support the work of PPNSW and the key operational and reporting priorities. In addition, the post holder will collate and disseminate ideas and feedback from PPNSW engagement events to help inform and contribute to the development and work of the PPNSW. The role may also offer some day to day co-ordination of the PPNSW. The post holder will provide an initial point of contact for the PPN as well as supporting the overall communication strategy and function and organisation of events.

Applicants will be educated to first degree level or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes.
