The above part-time (0.5) post is available immediately for an Administrator for the Global Systems Institute (GSI) on a fixed-term basis for one year.
Summary of the role
Institutes represent significant investments by the University of Exeter in areas of research strength and play a key role in helping achieve the University's Global 100 objectives. Institutes will strengthen our reputation for world-leading research and education of the highest quality and impact within their fields of inquiry.
Building on >GBP 100 million investment over the last decade in interdisciplinary environmental science, the University has established a new Global Systems Institute. It will be thought-leading in understanding global changes, solving global challenges, and helping create a flourishing future world together, through transformative research and education. The institute will position Exeter in a leading international position for global change research. The GSI will become a go toplace for global change researchers from around the world, bringing them together with industry, policymakers, citizens, students and other stakeholders to tackle shared problems, and acting as a catalyst that enables translation of this research into applications that deliver tangible and sustainable social and ecological benefit.
