Summary of the role
This position has become available for a Diagnostic Radiographer to join our Medical Imaging team at the University of Exeter. This post may interest radiographers from a wide range of backgrounds. This post comes with an associated fully funded part-time PhD studentship. You will be expected to split your time across five days, with two days per week spent on your PhD and three days per week teaching or undertaking work to support teaching.
The responsibilities will include teaching modules on the BSc (Hons) Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography) under the supervision of experienced academics. This role involves lecturing, running laboratory practical sessions, providing pastoral care and tutorial support to undergraduate and postgraduate students and undertaking academic administrative duties as required. Opportunities will be provided to support your research and educational development.
Medical Imaging programmes at the University of Exeter include the high-ranking BSc (Hons) Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography) programme taking in the region of 70 students per intake, a new apprenticeship route and a growing portfolio of postgraduate provision including the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, MbyRes in Medical Imaging and PhD in Medical Sciences.
