The College wishes to recruit a Senior Lecturer (Programme Lead) to oversee the delivery of the Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) training programme.
The above full-time (1.0 FTE) post is available from the 1st of September 2022 to the 31st of December 2023 within the Clinical Education Development and Research (CEDAR), within Psychology at the University of Exeter. We also welcome applications from those interested in part-time hours (0.6-0.8 FTE)
We anticipate extending this post beyond this period subject to funding.
About the role
The post will oversee the continued design, development and delivery of the established EMHP training programme, applying innovative and high-quality teaching and course delivery techniques and strategies. The post will involve working with the Director of Portfolio and Clinical Practice Director to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the EMHP training programmes. The successful candidate will implement and monitor key programme processes in line with developments to the national EMHP curriculum and in accordance with the College’s education strategy and implementing the External Affairs strategy
About you
The successful applicant will be recognised as a scholar and teacher and possess an in-depth understanding of children and young people’s mental health delivery and training to enable the development of new knowledge and understanding within the field.
