The above Part time (0.6FTE) post is available 01.07.22 on an open ended contract within the DClinPGR Portfolio of Professional Doctoral Programmes and Associate Programmes in the Psychology department. It is expected that the post will be extended once additional training commissions are confirmed.
About the role
This post is primarily to support research informed teaching activities within the DClinPGR Portfolio of Professional Doctoral Programmes and Associate Programmes. You will have responsibility for managing and monitoring the Masters in Clinical Associates in Psychology Programme within Psychology and its associated operational administration, curriculum development, and quality management and enhancement (including accreditation / registration by relevant professional institutions). In particular you will manage, expand and diversify the CAP portfolio of income-generating programmes, provide leadership and management of the design and development of the overall curricula and make a significant contribution to the leadership and management of the development of teaching and learning strategies and academic standards for the portfolio. It is envisaged that the CAP development can expand in ways that complement the range of professions on the HCPC Practitioner Psychologist register. The CAPs Director of Portfolio can also oversee potential development of CAPs within a self-funding UK and international route.
