College of Engineering, Mathematics & Physical Sciences
This full-time permanent post is available immediately in the Department of Engineering which is part of the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences. Engineering currently has over 80 academic staff working across the engineering field from clean power trains to renewable energy and from energy storage to water engineering.
The post of Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering will contribute to extending the research profile of Exeter Engineering, particularly in areas related or complementary to Clean Mobility. You will contribute to high quality research and informed teaching at both undergraduate and post graduate levels.
This post will support our newly formed Centre for Future Clean Mobility (CFCM). CFCM, led by Profs Chris Smith and Prathyush Menon (http://blogs.exeter.ac.uk/futurecleanmobility/), if part of the UK government’s “Driving the Electric Revolution” national centres, and is expanding its experimental facilities in a new building on the Exeter Science Park.
