Drama at Exeter offers a vibrant, creative and supportive community of over 20 staff, active in world-leading research and professional practice, and nearly 400 students. We teach an innovative suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (1st in the Times Good University Guide 2022), in excellent purpose-built facilities. We are growing into a new interdisciplinary department of Communications, Drama, Film and Television this year.
The role
This dynamic post of Lecturer in Drama (Creative Producing) offers an exciting opportunity to design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in creative producing, live event project management and creative leadership, including onto the MA in Creativity: Innovation and Business Strategy. The post will also include enhancing industry stakeholder networks, widening placement and employment opportunities for students, and developing closer working with the cultural and creative industries. Working independently and with colleagues, the post will deliver innovative and established modules, supervise placements and dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate level, contribute to Drama’s strategy for a diverse and inclusive curriculum, contribute to assessment and quality assurance activities, and support students in their learning and professional development.
